Our story
Why we started
Life Systems Software was started in 1992 by Dr. Paul Bindell, a chiropractor in practice from 1976 to 2013. The software was built from real practice, and it is still built that way.
Every product on the market bolted chiropractic onto a generic medical record. Notes took minutes, schedules lived in three screens, and billing was an afterthought that generated denials. Clinics were paying for software that made their day longer.
ChiroPad was created for documentation and SOAP notes: a way for doctors to record findings accurately and quickly while examining or treating a patient, so the time saved goes back to the patient. Today Life Systems Software builds ChiroPad alongside ChiroSuite EHR, ChiroOffice, and Paraphrase, for practices from single-provider clinics to multi-location groups, from San Ramon, CA.
